So I'm 99% sure that my missing cat, Dylan is dead. *cries*

On Thursday night I went to my local shop and before I even said hi to the ladies as I went in one of them asked me if I was ok. I said I was and then she said "haven't you heard about Dylan?" and my heart literally stopped. She said that he'd been knocked over near the local primary school and some lady had buried him!! I literally bolted from the shop as the ladies we're extremely unfazed by it and I burst into tears when I told my Mum. Apparently, the lady works at the school and saw him some time last week and went to the shop to get him some food and ask if they knew who's cat he was. One of the ladies told her who's cat he was and that we've been looking for him. Instead of dropping him off at the vets or what not, she fed him and left him wandering. So, the next day she goes into the playground to find him dead on the floor, she reckoned he'd been run over and managed to make it into the playground before dying. Now, I have NO idea who this lady is or where she's buried him. Who the hell buries someone's cat when it has a collar/micro chipped and you know it belongs to someone? If anything you take it to the vets for them to inform the owners. I can't believe someone fucking buried my cat and I was just supposed to know. It really pisses me off that someone would do that. I don't know whether he's buried in the school playground or at this ladies house. I know it's morbid but what if something digs him up? I'd have wanted him cremated, like my old cat Lily, that way I know he won't be decomposing and generally being worm food. I'm still very upset about it as I don't know 100% if it is him. All I can do is eventually find the lady and show her a picture. It was only a matter of time before he got himself killed but I honestly think it could have been avoided.
